Assalamualaikum and have a blessed Thursday!
I can't recall how long do I leave the whole blogging world to cope with the real frenzied life. Writing is my passion; this is where I pour my heart out, I guess it's almost impracticable to let go of something that you love to do over the years. It does feel good to be back yay! So, here is my first entry - Salam Maal Hijrah 1440H. I'm not someone who bothers to pin special dates on my mind but, this one is quite exceptional. In Malaysia, there will be a day off to celebrate Maal Hijrah as a remembrance of Prophet Muhammad's migration from Makkah to Madinah. It's also closely related to the good rapport between Muhajirin and Ansar that had been brought about by our Prophet, Rasulullah SAW. You can directly refer to this website for better understanding!

Islam is just beyond perfect. We can't put everything into words, some 'words' are actually meant to be felt and there, we never realize it brings smile on our face. That's how beautiful Islam is. We were all once rug rats; we didn't thoroughly understand what prayers were for and we said this a lot, "Penatlah puasa, lapar dengan haus ni. Lama lagi ke?". Still, we obeyed His commandments to complete 5 times prayers in a day and fasting from Fajr to Maghrib. I can simply say that we had that theory - The fear of Allah! Now that we're grown-ups, is that theory still be relevant? It should be, it's a must! But, with better conception about Islam itself. If we merely followed the Imam, previously without acknowledging the benefits of our prayers, now that we've reached the age that we're able to think clearly, the dependency to Allah should be more or improved!
The world we're living in today gets creepier than ever; secularism, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT), liberalization of Islam and the list goes on. Everything bad is coming our way and that's the reality. Sometimes I do feel that drowning-like feeling whenever I come across random posts regarding Islam. It's too much, too much fitna. I tell my siblings a lot about this, plainly because I'm scared. I'm not a deeply pious person. No, I'm still too far for being one but, turning a blind eye and slowly accepting all these normalizing ideas are totally nonsensical.
Underpinning the root of our beliefs is absolutely necessary in this era. We may not be in intense wars as our brothers and sisters do from other unrest countries but, being tested with non-stop contradictory ideologies to our religion still makes us no difference. Unification of Muslims goes hand in hand with what's happening today. All in all, please be well defended and never let these hidden agendas settle into our society. Salam Maal Hijrah 1440H, you guys!
